Teapot Stoneware Handthrown Pottery 7

Description

This teapots body measures 5 1/4/" x 4 7/8". With the spout, handle, and lid it measures 7 7/8" X 5 3/8" and holds 4 to 5 cups. It has a vent hole in the top of the lid for better pouring and strainer holes for loose tea.

We use this same style of teapot at out house and it does quite well at straining most of the tealeaves. I would still suggest using a strainer to pour the tea into the cup though. Tea brews better when allowed to be loose in the pot where it has room to steep.

This teapot is not intended for use on the stovetop it is meant only to steep or brew the tea. It is a teapot not a teakettle.

All pieces are hand thrown and some variations will occur.

Insurance will be included on all pieces over $20. There is no need to worry about breakage during shipping in 20 years I have only lost a few pieces. I pack things very securely and I will gladly replace items that are damaged in shipping.
