This shopping bag is patterned after a regular paper bag. Instead of flimsy paper bag handles that often break with the weight of groceries, this cloth bag has a long shoulder strap that has been reinforced with an X. It is top stitched around the top of the bag, and the strap is also top stitched in a black thread. You can just sling this over your shoulder or wear it across your body, hands free.

This bag folds up very small, so you can take it with you anywhere you go. For trips to the grocery store, library, market, or even the beach! Don't settle for paper or plastic, get a fashionable tote bag that is also earth friendly! The material I used for this bag was abandoned, but heavy blackeye feed bag would not be wasted. It has finally found its true calling, after a long life as a carrier of California Blackeye Peas, this has become a great tote bag! The interior is fun red and black recycled sheet that was no longer useable in its original form, so it too found a second life in this bag!

Due to the nature of the fabric and its life before this bag, some imperfections exist. We call it character! The strap is made from a heavy duty khaki fabric, and is 2.5 inches wide and approx 40 inches long. The bag dimensions are 12 inches deep 17 inches wide.
