Cloisonne and gold are a striking pair in this bracelet combo
Description
From Wikipedia: Cloisonné, an ancient metalworking technique, is a multi-step process used to produce jewelry, vases, and other decorative items. (The resulting objects can also be called cloisonné.) The technique can be used either for enamel, today much the most commonly found, or for gemstone inlays. In either variety a shape making part of the design is surrounded by a thin metal edge, forming a compartment. With enamel liquid enamel is poured to fill the compartment; with gemstones a pre-cut matching piece of inlay is hammered and perhaps glued into it.These Cloisonné beads captured my attention when I walked into my favorite bead store recently. Feminine and flirty, I thought they'd make a perfect accent for your arm. This 8.25" (20.8 cm) bracelet is accented with 6mm gold beads that are nestled inside, and the 2.25" (5.7 cm) matching earrings are also sporting matching green aventurine dangles to bring out the color of the Cloisonné.
Grab this one quick. It's show season, and these are even more beautiful in person. They won't be here long!
