"She navigated the streets of the city with her Father's hand in hers walking carefully past the vast docks that spanned Steamworks Port and through the colorful Artisan's shoppes in the Gearworks District.

They passed by the colorful street performers and on to the regal Grand Magna Opera House. Even though it was dark and empty she could almost hear the sounds that lifted from the Opera house and could only imagine all the magical performances that took place there each week.

It was then that she saw them. She stopped as she heard the thundering sound of the magnificent airships that soared overheard. She had waited an entire year to hear that wonderful sound again. She just knew she would win one of the Junior Aviator Awards at the Airshow this year. She could feel it in her heart...this was her year...."

This lovely "Junior Aviator Award" began life as a vintage watch face from the 30's, a pair of lovely antiqued brass "aviator style" wings and a brass filigree that has been lovingly rusted and aged to perfection. There are 4 other similar items listed in my shop....I would be honored it if you would take a look.

This diminutive "award" measures only 1 1/2" by 2" and is fitted with a jewelry quality pin back.
