A stylish update on a sewing room classic. This pumpkin is hand crocheted with three colors of 100% wool kettle dyed yarn. With weights in the bottom and hand felted wool stuffing, it’s as practical as any pincushion but so much more attractive and unique.

After stuffing, the crocheted cover was slightly felted and the cushion was shaped into the classic pumpkin shape with needle sculpting. The wool felt leaf and stem were then attached. The wool filling gives the perfect feel when inserting pins and helps keep pins and needles shiny.
