Hand-Felted Couture Scarf -- Night and Day (Made to Order)

Description

Night Meets Day.

This beautiful, couture scarf is made from hand-blended white and charcoal wool; I arrange the wool roving to create painterly gradation and embellishe the scarf with black and white lace, black rayon, and shining tencel fibers for a marbled effect. Lovely, subtle frills and a "fringe" are also added during the felting process. The fringe adds another level of intricacy and sophistication to this already beautiful piece. The scarf is supple and fairly lightweight: a pleasure to wear! You might also experiment with using it as a wrap around your shoulders!


Dimensions:
Approximately 73" (185 cm) long; 5.5-7.5" (14-19 cm) wide.

Care: May be (very) gently washed by hand in cold water; lay flat to dry.
