The Thistle and the Bumblebee - Original Linocut Print

I was hiking near the dam at Shabbona Lake State Park and came accross a bumblebee busy with it's work. It didn't notice me. Autumn was in full swing and it didn't have any time to waste. I snapped a few photos as reference shots and made this print during the winter months. It felt good to remember that it was warm not so long before.
