To maintain healthy teeth rabbits and rodents instinctively chew on hard materials. These chew treats provide your pets with the gnawing exercise they want and need. Safe, fresh chews for your pets' enjoyment. All the sticks are inspected and cleaned for insects and foreign matter. Attached to the bark may be some lichen that is harmless to rabbits. The sticks are not treated in any way; just pure, fresh wood.

Apple Wood Gnawer sticks are between 6"-10" long and 1/8"-1" in diameter. Each 11 ounce package contains approx. 20-30 sticks and twigs.

These treats are sure to be a hit with your pets.

SOME SPECIES HAVE VERY SPECIFIC DIETARY NEEDS, refer to your veterinarian for advice. Many recommend removing the lichen from applewood, boiling and baking before offering to chinchillas. As with all new food, introduce Apple Wood Gnawers slowly, starting with just one small piece, to avoid any sudden upset to the digestive system.
