Black and White Scallop Round Identity Earrings by Harriete Estel Berman use post consumer recycled tin cans.The embossed for on the earrings made the tin, lightweight material very strong and rigid. The scallop edge is smooth.The bright yellow orange edge adds great dynamic color.
The post is sterling silver. Front of the earring is two layers. A black background with black and white strip top layer.
My work is included in fourteen museum collections and over 26 books, but these earrings are only available on Etsy.
Everything is one of a kind, but these earrings are part of the Black and White Identity series. I love experimenting with this black and white tin material.
