Abena African Shield and Byzantine Chainmaille Necklace

I made this necklace over the weekend sitting under the Liveoak Trees next to our camper trailer out in South Central Texas. Its Tuesday morning and I have decided to name this piece Abena... The meaning for this West African word is "Born on Tuesday" so I present you with this wonderfully exotic piece on this grand rainy Tuesday.. This handmade (ring by ring) lightweight aluminum byzantine chain is 19 inches lond with a handmade silver wire clasp, The African shield pendant is tarnish free/lead free pewter and measures 2 inches..You can clean this piece with a jewelry cleaning cloth to neep it looking great...Peace
