HandPainted Cake Cover -- Fall GingerBread

Description

This is a repurposed metal cake cover with glass plate. I basecoated the body of it black, painted over the embossed strip of leaves and acorns in bright fall colors to make it POP, and painted 3 of my original gingers on the top of the cover. It has a wooden acorn at the very top that I have painted also.
This has been sealed with several coats of sealer for protection, but please do not immerse it in water........wipe with a damp cloth to clean. The inside of the lid has not been painted. It measures 7" tall with a 13" diameter. The shipping price quoted to the US is for parcel post. Priority is available upon request, but will be a lot higher due to the weight.
This is my original design, so please do not copy without my permission.
There are dents in the top of the cover, but nothing that takes away from the charm of it.
