This piece is about how the perfect group fits together...full of different personalities, talents, strengths, weaknesses, shapes, sizes, etc, we lend each other our strengths when we connect. Building together, we influence one another and accomplish so much more than we ever could on our own.

Part of the fun about this piece is that it is made almost entirely from cast-off items! All the paper it's composed of is old church bulletin cardstock (journey series!) that was clean, and saved by me from the dumpster. Most of the paint was applied from my art student's palettes....they tend to pour out too much! The mesh and tulle (6 pieces, some clearly visible) is leftover from a tutu making party. It's 97% upcycled!

this piece has layers of various media, including: vintage dictionary page, several colors of inks, watercolor & acrylic paints, pigment powders, etc.
