Scottish Burr Elm boxes

Description

A stunning set of 3 jewellery boxes hand made from one of my favorite woods - Scottish Burr Elm. They all fit inside one another forming a beautiful collection of boxes.

This wood is sadly becoming very scarce due to the disease in the Elm tree that is slowly killing off these beautiful trees.

The lids of the boxes show some of this wood's amazing natural beauty. They are each felted on the inside and on the underneath. They will make a gorgeous addition to your bedside or dressing table.

The larger box measures 7" x 5" at widest parts and stands 2" high. The middle box measures 5.5" x 3.75" and stands 1" high. The smallest box measures 4" x 2.75" and stands 0.5" high. A box this small takes a lot of intricate work to produce, which is refelcted in the price of this set.

This collection will make a special gift.
