Tranquility . . . hand painted silk wrap, shawl, scarf

Description

To me, Autumn is a very peaceful time of year, especially when watching leaves fall and listening to the birds sing. I tried to capture that feeling in this silk wrap . . . well, everything but the the singing birds. The colors are a colorful mix of rusty red, golden yellow, coppery orange and a few areas of chocolate bronze. The design on the silk are floating leaves in various sizes.

This silk wrap/shawl can also be worn as a scarf or a half sarong (tie it as a skirt or a top), making it a silk for all seasons!

Details:
Silk - 100% silk habotai (10mm)
Size - Approximately 72" x 22" (182 cm x 55 cm)
Hem - Machine rolled hem, gently rounded corners
Care - Hand wash, lay flat and blot with a towel to dry, iron on silk setting
