Handspun wool/mohair yarn

Description

Falling leaves, anyone? Here in Buffalo the ground is already covered with the early-fallers: the green ones, the semi-yellow, semi-brick ones. The rest will turn and fall after the first frost (coming up).

So this yarn fits right in with these early leaves. It is a blend of 70% wool from Rita and 30% mohair from Benny. The colors are clay and olive green swirled with gold and a little copper.

It is handspun, hand dyed and single ply. There are 2 skeins of 80 yards each. The yarn is worsted weight so I would use a size 8 or size 9 needle to knit it with.

This yarn will felt lightly in a machine and there will be a definite "mohair halo."
