This is a scan of antique postcard mailed in Aug. 1904 to a woman in Blankenberghe, Belgium. It was a promotional advertising piece from the F. Wygaerts stores. I find it hard to believe that anyone can look at this image and not automatically start saying 'aaahhhh.' I love the French script written all over. The left border almost looks naked without script there, too. I envision a matching pink ribbon along that edge:) This is another one of those images that I think would make perfect wall decor. Forget those mass-produced, store-bought prints. Get a vintage frame from Goodwill, print out this scan and put it under glass against a mat. Voila! Instant authentic and inexpensive Shabby Chic, Cottage, Romantic, Paris Apartment decor. At 300 dpi, you have a lot of leeway as to how small or big you want to use the image. You are not locked into one format. From greeting card to 8 x 10 inch-print, this scan will reproduce beautifully.
