1940s style Circus STRIPE Black and Multi VEST

Description

I am pretty sure I saw a vest like this in a 40s musical recently. Stripes on front and back are black velvet/velveteen--paired with multi-colored cotton (different size color stripes in yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, pink, white). This is a fitted number (fits like a shirt/blouse) with buttons up the front and faux pocket.

For comparison, shown on modern size 8 dress form. Suggest a modern M to L (no stretch fabric). Bust measures 40 in., waist measures 34 in., length from shoulder (to notched points) are 20 in.

Great vintage condition with no obvious flaws, tears, stains or smells.
