Cow Pitcher wood fired Stoneware slip trailed pottery
Description
This pitcher is embellished with two holstein cows slip trailed and brushed in black and white over a slip that has some lovely flashing from the wood firing. There is a sprinkle fo melted wood ash over the shoulder of the pot.The pulled handle has a thumb rest, and there is a rope texture around the lip and foot of the piece. The bottom is stamped Morris Pottery.
This pitcher will hold about a pint or 16 ounces liquid
