Fused Glass Necklace

Description

This unique necklace is a mother/daughter collaboration. The pendant is made with two layers of opaque glass capped with clear glass and accented with dichroic glass. These layers are all fused in the kiln and properly annealed. After cooling, small gold decal designs have been added and the piece has been refired causing the decals to become a permanent part of the glass. The pendant measures appx. 1.75" x 1" including the sterling silver plated bail. The necklace is made from various sizes of glass and metal beads and is finished with a sterling silver clasp. The necklace measures appx. 17".
