This handmade leather journal is both simple and beautiful. It is made from premium burgundy colored latigo leather. The leather is a very nice weight, very pliable and will soften even more with use. I've left the raw edge of the leather intact for the wrap around cover, I think it looks really cool this way! A handmade 6-thread braid wraps around the book twice to keep it together and protect the pages. The inside and edges have been finished in black to complete the look.
