Coffee or Tea Mug

Description

I made this mug with my red clay body and it has an intricate herringbone carved texture under blue, orange, yellow and black slip. The interior and handle are finished in a water blue glaze. My mugs are generous in size about 4" tall and 3.5" wide, so great for a big coffee or tea.

I hand make all of my pots which I throw in a rich red terracotta or creamy white earthenware, and texture with antique Indian woodblocks. The pots are further embellished with multiple slip layers which I carefully sand back through to reveal the color and texture below. All of my work is 100% lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe, though, as with any handmade pottery, it is always better to hand wash and use care when removing from microwave.
