Description
Guatemala, the Land of Trees, a rich cultural bed in central america. This tote, upcycled from a traditional Guatemalan skirt is a piece of the culture in your own hands.A friend who traveled to Guatemala in 2002 asked me what I would like her to bring back for me. I asked for a skirt not thinking it would be five yards of material! That beautiful "skirt" has new life as farmers market totes. The strap was constructed from a reclaimed neck tie.
