Texas Grasshopper
Description
After a 4 month separation from my printmaking tools, I am celebrating the reunion with a 4 x 4 series: four wildlife studies (bird, reptile, insect, plant) for four states I've lived in (Idaho, Alabama, Kansas, Texas).I have no idea what kind of a grasshopper this is. All I can tell you is it was TINY and it was CUTE. It was perched on the leaf of a little clover plant and, oh gosh, it was the smallest little bug with oversized antennae I've ever seen!
This original hand-pulled print is 3" x 3", on 4" x 5" Japanese kozo-shi paper. Each piece is signed and dated by the artist.
