Needlebook -- Sweet Baby Bluebirdy

Description

OK, you can just stick your needles any old place if you want, but wouldn't it be cool to have a sweet little booklet to put them in?
A darling little bluebird, made from a baby blue felt which has been backed with interfacing to give it some stiffness.

There's a cute little wing made from a sweet feedsack print in blues and pinks. I added a button to the wing and a ribbon to wrap around it, to keep your needlebook closed.

Then I added 2 little pink felt "pages" and handstitched all around with some white embroidery floss. A little black bead eye is the perfect finishing touch.

Great for stitching on the go!

This would also make a SWEET and much appreciated little gift for your favorite stitcher!
