White on Red Button Journal

Okay, I confess, I LOVE buttons. Love, love, LOVE them. And so when I decided to make a button-y journal I knew pretty much right away what I wanted, and so I present you with the White on Red Button Journal. It reminds me, for some reason, of fairy tales. Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White, in specific. Maybe that's just because I'm a fairy tale fan!

This journal is approximately 6.25 x 4.5 inches closed and is made up of two pieces of bright red felted wool machine sewn together, with a smattering of random buttons in a range of clear to white sewn on the cover. I then did a hand-sewn running stitch around the edges to heighten the aesthetic look, and added the snap-button closure.

There are 180 sheets (or 360 pages back and front) of bright white paper in this happy little journal, so it should keep you occupied for a while!
