Vintage 1970s Matroyska Doll pen pencil holder

Description

At one time, this little cutie hung on the wall, probably by the phone. She was busy supplying pens and pencils - maybe even scissors - to that person using the phone.

From what I can tel:l, she appears to be made of paper mache. She is coated on the inside with yellow paint - and some pencil and ink marks towards the bottom.

Particulars:
Measurements: 8" tall x 4" wide x 3.5" deep
Condition: Good to excellent - She has a few hairline 'stress' cracks caused by the weight of the pens and pencils, etc... from when she hung on the wall. I have reinforced these with some clear glue. There are a few places where her paint is chipped off - but not many!
Circa: 1970s
Cuteness scale: Over the top - she is adorable!

Please remember that vintage is not handmade, in that it can not be reproduced or found again. If you find something vintage and can't live without it, then snap it up while you can. You may see the same item again - or you may not!
