Merino Felt Purse - Under the Microscope

Description

Here’s a soft merino wool felt purse that’s great for carrying small treasures.

When closed, it measures approximately 3” x 6” give or take a bit because felt has a naturally uneven edge.

I made the felt using the seemingly magical wet felting method, which involves hours of strenuous, yet rewarding, work. I then hand stitched the purse with variegated wool yarn and added the button.

As always, the colours on your monitor may differ from the actual wool a bit. So, here’s a list of the colours: white, violet, deep blue, deep pink, orange, warm yellow, green, turquoise felt with variegated wool yarn of navy blue, turquoise, lavender, olive green and a pale yellow button.
