Here is another great fall and winter colored drusy. What’s great about brown is that it can be worn in all seasons really. As you know, druzies are very unique. The way the crystals are growing out of this one gives it a very dramatic look while keeping with the spirit of good fashion sense as druzies are all the rage right now. The reason they are in such high demand is that they are uncommon and fun. A number of factors contribute to the rarity of drusy quartz. When first found in the earth, natural geodes look like solid, round rocks. Most of these are truly solid, with only 5% or so being hollow with crystals forming on the inside. Only a fraction of these will have formed with the fine unblemished drusy crystals that create the unforgettable sparkle like this one does. The 24k gold encased drusy measures 1 and 1/8 of an inch long by 3/4 of an inch wide.
