Description

Make this necklace as lush as you like, with oodles of leaves in a coordinated palette. The herringbone chain divides and rejoins to provide an extra "branch" for even more leaves, and terminates in a beaded toggle loop-and-bar closure that can also be decorated with, yes, more leaves.

Full instructions for a basic beaded leaf, as well as a few colour and shape variations.

You should be comfortable with flat peyote - knowing how to increase and decrease is a bonus, but not necessary, as the instructions do explain both. You should also be comfortable with tubular herringbone with a step-up, as this is used for the bulk of the actual necklace, with variations to form the toggle loop, and to allow the front of the necklace to split and rejoin.

Each of the colourways has seven colours for leaves, and a coordinating "branch" colour for the necklace:
-- green leaves on a dark brown branch
-- fall leaves in golds and oranges on a medium brown branch
-- moonlit leaves and branch in shades of blues and greys through black
