Large felt and velvet brooch
Description
A great combination of hand made felt, velvet and embroidery. Such fun to make, and try different mixtures of colour and shape.I applique some of my luxurious hand dyed velvet onto a thick piece of hand made 'wet felted' felt, and add some machine embroidery to sculpt it before trimming the edges away and backing it with a piece of flowery cotton from my stash.
Its finished with a solution to seal it to minimize wear.
This one is rectangular with deep orange centre on gorgeous deep pink handmade felt with blue stitching..
Please note:Colours in the photograph might not be absolutely true although I do try my best.
Please read the description to get a better idea of the colour.
