Nashi Sock Yarn--Jodi's Blues

The first in our brand-new line of Nashi sock yarns! Nashi sock yarns are soft and sweet--named for the Japanese word for "pear"-- they produce a strong and durable fabric that is still soft to the touch. Making them into socks will make your feet think that they've gotten a sweet treat to eat.

Jodi's Blues is a custom colorway created for my good friend, Jodi. She wanted blue yarn for socks that had a twist of something special. The yarn almost pools, but not quite, when knitted in a simple sock. Please see the attached picture for a sample of the pooling.

100% superwash merino
Hand painted
Each skein is 114 g/385 yards
Gauge is 9 stitches=1" on US size 1-US size 3 needles
Machine washable on cold, tumble dry low.
Each skein will make an average size pair of socks.

Yarn is colorfast and lightfast.
