Small Pearl Pod Pendant and Chain - Sterling Silver

Description

Small sterling silver pendant with dark patina finish and a 6mm white freshwater pearl on sterling silver chain.

From our 'Pearl Pod' series, inspired by oak leaf galls, (see fourth photo), the pod began it's life as an orb that grows on an oak tree leaf. We took the gall off the leaf and cut it open in the front, cleaned it out, and placed a cup inside to seat the freshwater pearl. We then made a mold of the entire pod, and transformed it into sterling silver using a lost wax casting process.

SIZE:
Pendant is about 1/2 inch wide (13mm), 3/4 inches tall (20mm), including bail.
Third picture is taken on a standard-size 2" x 3" business card.
Pendant comes with 18 inch sterling silver rolo chain. Chain has antiqued, or patina, finish.
Let us know you if you would like a shorter or longer chain, up to 22 inches, when ordering.
(If you do not specify a size when ordering, we will send in 18 inch length.)
