Deep Red Felt Scarf, Shawl, with Lacy Edges

Description

Very soft, lightweight scarf with a good drape, made from merino wool with lacy edges in a triangular shapes at both ends. The ends are made from merino-mohair mix.

The shawl would go with most of the outfits, either casual, office or evening wear.
The dominant colour is red, mixed with a bit of black, scarlet and violet. There is a little amount of scarlet dyed mulberry silk added to the merino.

I have first hand dyed very soft merino wool in different colours, then hand carded (mixed them with a biiig brush)and then handfelted the fibre with yarn. The scarf is lightweight and airy, yet warm and with an excellent drape. No stiff felt!

It's long! It measures 206 x 31 cm or 82.4 x 12.4 inch and this generous size offers various possibilities how to wear it.
