Ever lost someone you love to cancer? My mom developed Breast Cancer at only 49 years of age. This scarf is dedicated to her memory and to everyone else who has ever lost someone to cancer. All proceeds collected from this sale (the entire purchase price and shipping costs) will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity. I am donating my time, and materials, selling fees and shipping fees from this sale.

I always have listings that are for charity. This is my first scarf, so I hope all of you like it. Since October is breast cancer awareness month, I want to remind all women with a history of the disease, or who are 35 and have not had a baseline, to talk to your doctor about having a mammogram.

Scarf is 100% roving wool. Wool is super soft and fluffy. Scarf is hand knit in a lace stitch with alternating rows of pink and white.

Scarf can be hand washed in cool water, and laid flat to dry on a towel. Do not wring, or wash or dry in the machine. Because it is wool, it will felt and shrink by a large amount.

Scarf is 6 inches wide by 48 inches in length.
