Blue Cal Silica is a newly found gemstone composed of Calcite Allophane (blue and green) and silica with various trace minerals that create the other colors. It is stabilized the same way as Turquoise. It has shades of turquoise, green and brown that make it look similar to the planet Earth.On this piece the Blue Cal Silica gemstone is the focal point of the 16" sterling silver ball chain. The oval gemstone measures 1" long by 1/2" wide.
