The Vampyre - midnight blue bat resin necklace

Description

Glittery, midnight blue bat silhouette encased in protective resin! Comes on a thin, black metal ball chain necklace with lobster clasp.

The bat is very light (though the silver plated bail and necklace give it some weight!) and slightly flexible (if you purposefully bend it with your fingers). It lies flat when you wear it. I had to develop a special way to coat the entire bat without encasing it in a square of resin; therefore this looks simple but is the result of quite a bit of work! :)

Size: this bat has a 2-inch wingspan, and is about half an inch tall (deep).

I made this in several layers of resin, with curing time in between. I sanded the edges on the back - no sharp corners! :) Silver plated bail.
