Introducing my newest line: Super Short Chokers!

I paired my love of semiprecious gemstones and natural elements with my love of the choker necklace and sat down to make several different combinations of this super short choker.

Did you notice the unique toggle clasp? Let me tell you, I have searched all over and haven’t seen anything like this one!

Two of these are available. One measures 14” and the other is 15 ½” long. (Please note which you prefer during checkout) Each one is made with thirteen natural turquoise stones in the center and three in the clasp. Two copper spacer beads are on both sides of the stones. The tiny bronze colored beads that make up the rest of the necklace are called charlottes, which are special Czech glass seed beads that have been cut on one side. This gives the bead a sparkling faceted look that is much more elegant than a simple round bead.

From the Encyclo-bead-ia: Turquoise is said to attract prosperity and success, to have the power to influence creative powers, and to enhance the ability to communicate. The stone has long been prized as a powerful talisman with healing properties. It is said that turquoise can help balance the throat chakra (the blue chakra), increasing resistance to viruses and helping to relieve sore throats, lung infections and the affects of allergies.

Aside from being a short necklace for a teenager or adult, this would also be perfect for a little girl! Shorter necklaces are perfect when combined with longer pieces to complete this season’s layered look!
