Fire Fly Top

Description

Fire Fly has a vintage nylon lacy camisole base in black and the most exquisitely embroidered vintage deep orange silk at the front..

..A cute shorter style with so much interest and stand-out, shout aloud attitude! This top is made for dancing in for sure :-)

I believe the exquisite embroidered silk sections are taken from a vintage gentleman's wedding coat or some such opulent occasion. I further decorated the front with an appliqued French lady patch, surrounded by hand dyed purple crocheted lace, beads, black lace and sequins.
A black and gold vintage glass button sits atop reddish chiffon and metallic braid on one of the straps.

The back is made with bright orange lace, vintage black flower appliques, more of the fine metallic embroidery and other old metallic flowers.

There is alot of detail in this but I think you can see for yourself by the photos!
The front section has been sewn to allow for stretch at the bust if needed or will hang loosely on a smaller bust size.

This top could be worn alone with a long skirt, black flares or leggings, jeans... or layered over a thin knitted long sleeve top for extra coverage or warmth... lots of possibilities.. or will look just as good on display :-)
