OK, so names may not be my strongest suit!

Use right angle weave, cross-weaving and non-specific beading techniques to weave the focal of this necklace, floral in aspect, or perhaps star-shaped, with a flange around the lower edge that gives it definition, stability and more dimensional interest. The necklace chain comprising size 8 seeds and Japanese fringe beads works up quite quickly, making this not quite instantaneous to complete, but certainly not s slow as Penelope's weaving!

(Penelope was Ulysses'/Odysseues' wife who avoided choosing a new husband from among her one hundred-odd suitors saying she couldn't choose until she'd finished weaving a shroud for her father-in-law - which she secretly undid every night).

The necklace fastens with a beaded toggle and loop.

Two colourways, warm and cool: bright pink and iridescent deep peacock blue with silvery and lavender accents, or delicate green and warm brown with coppery-gold accents.

The focal measures about an inch acrosss, and the kit contains enough beads to make a necklace up to 18" - but this looks best on the short side.
