This handwoven scarf is ~6 1/2" (16 cm) wide x 74" (187 cm) long and has an additional 5" (12.5 cm) of fringe at each end.

The scarf just makes me smile every time I look at it. I used a wide range of what I think of as happy, bright colors - teal, blue, purple, pink, chartreuse, all set off nicely by black. With beautiful drape and an incredibly soft hand, this scarf is fun, bright, eye-catching piece of wearable fiber art.

It also features an interestingly textured fabric - cells of plain weave are interspersed with more gathered fabric. Unusual and striking, people that walk into my studio invariably head right for these scarves as the first they pick up to look at more closely.

Care instructions: Hand wash, cool. Tumble dry on delicate/low heat, then lay flat or hang to finish drying if needed. Hard press with iron set to rayon setting, as needed/desired.
