Vintage Victorian Fan fabric sample Linen Cotton blend Chinese Fans Pink

This sale is for ONE vintage 1970's fine decorator sample from Clarence House named "Chinese Fans" in the pink and beige colorway. I have a limited quantity, so please purchase as many as you think you will need!

It it a hand screened print done with approx. 6 screens in 6 colors (light pink, dark pink, light tan, dark tan, soft yellow, and dark brown) on a beige colored ground.

The fabric is an upholstery weight cotton linen blend of 50 percent linen, 38 percent cotton and 12 percent nylon . It's perfect for chair cushions, pillows, dresses, skirts, aprons, and many other uses! I once made a pillow out of this fabric and embellished it with different sized pearls and lots of lace. I would love an apron in this fabric!

The samples are approximately 26" x 34" with a 19.5" drop repeat. The sample edges have been overlocked. All samples have been cut at different parts of the pattern s you may not get the exact pattern cut that you see in the photos.

Please note, these samples are very old, and due to the nature of it's previous use, they may have slight discoloration and staining. They have been stored folded, and may show some slight darkening along the folds due to dust. There may be very slight pencil marks on these samples as well. There are no tears or holes in these samples. I've carefully inspected all samples and find them all saleworthy. They all had sample tags stapled to them, which I have carefully removed. I would recommend hand washing these samples in very cold water with a gentle detergent (such as Woolite) and air drying before using. Please suggest these same cleaning methods to your clients!
