Lil hippie mama fair trade India cotton pinafore and pant set with 3 D applique

Description

This is just the sweetest little set! Made with the last of my India cotton in this print of soft mauve/pink base with hand stamped flowers and batik patterns. There are slight splashes of rust throughout - gives a subtle punch of color and allows the hand dyed work to stand out.

The top is a pinafore style that ties in the back at the neckline. It hangs in an A-line shape and so can fit for many years, especially as a layering piece. (The back is open from the neck down, so would need to go over something like a tee, onsie or tank) Layering will also give this top year round wearability! I added two sweet appliques to the front; one is a butterfly made from the darkest portions of the base print and the other is a "3-dimensional" flower, hand cut, quilted and attached at the center 3rd portion to give it stability AND dimension...looks so cute on! Sadly, my toddler will NOT model for me today...so on the floor it lays. (If he's in a better mood later, I'll try again! LOL!) The pants match perfectly and are cut in a wide leg style. Here's the best part: I have the pants in TWO sizes! When you make your purchase, lemme know which you need...or, get both! (I'll adjust your price and promise to be very KIND! =) Pants are drawstring closure. The smaller size fits in the 6-12 month range (see measurements below) and the larger 4-6T (also, see measurements to be sure!)

shoulder to bottom hem = 17.5 inches
waist/hip = up to 22inches or more with layering as the back is open at the bottom

PANTS:
smaller size for 6-12 months
length = 16 inches outseam, 11 inches inseam
waist/hips = 20 inches MAX with drawstring

larger size for 4-6T
length = 29,5 inches outseam, 21.5 inches inseam
waist/hips = 25 inches max with drawstring
