Description

These little paintings are silhouettes on canvas. I started with my greyhound logo - I just love the simplicity of the image that I started playing with the profile of other dogs. Now I have Greyhounds, Boxers, Chihuahuas, Labs, Schnauzers, and Great Danes. They are all paper and acrylic 8” x 8” on gallery profile frame with 1 3/8” stretchers. The image wraps around on the sides of the canvas. They are embellished with different items such as paper, rhinestones, ink, acrylic paint, beads, and three dimensional glaze

This is Logo Hound #21 - a red polka dot paper hound silhouette applied to a black damask patterned paper background which is all attached to canvas. There is a decorative paper collar with red and pink pattern rhinestones applied to the hound. Both the image and the background have been painted with inked.

This painting was created to be hung without being framed.
