A lovely, delicate piece that features a sterling silver Star of David charm and a sterling silver hamsa charm, both from a beautifully detailed antiqued silver circle. The hamsa is usually called the "Hand of God", but may also be called by other names such as the Hand of Miriam in Judaism. It is popular in several religions including Islam, where is it called the Hand of Fatima, in reference to Fatima Zahra, the daughter of Muhammad. It is a kind of "protecting hand" or "hand of God."The charms each have a silver accent bead and Swarovski crystal, one in blue, one clear. Hangs from a 19" rhodium chain and finished with a simple silver toggle clasp. Comes gift boxed.
