My husband hated the "male hankerchief", and to blow his nose on it and put it back into his pocket was totally disgusting to him (and me).

Give a man something to put his tissues in that looks masculine. He can put one in his pocket or toss one in his briefcase...Whatever!

Anyway, it is a classy thing to have, especially if you need a tissue in front of your date. You will look extra special and extra "CLEAN".
