Life Story Game. Interactive card game to get to know family and friends better

The perfect way for children to learn the life stories of their parents and grandparents.

This card game was designed and created by John and published through Prose Red, our small family publishing company. The picture of the moon on the lake is a night view from in front of our home on the shores of Lake Ontario--one of John's lovely digital photos of Nature in her prime.

There are 52 playing cards, plus a "Game Rules" card. Each of the playing cards has a personal question listed under the following 4 categories: 1) Characters & Experiences; 2) Family and Childhood; 3)Love and Romance; 4)Thoughts & Opinions.

It can be played with from 2 up to a dozen or more players. (probably best with from 3 to 8 players). Each player in turn takes a card from the deck and asks the player to their left two of the four questions on the selected card, e.g. "describe your first feeling of independence" (from family & childhood category), or "tell about turning down a date" (from love and romance category).

The player to the left answers one of the two questions then picks the next card and asks two of the four questions to the next player on his/her left. Playing informally like this is usually entertaining enough, but the rules also offer a way to keep score, for those more competitive souls amongst us.
