Vintage 1930s playsuit and skirt pattern - Simplicity 3304

Description

At the first sign of trouble, she would dive into the nearest phone box and whip off her wrap-around skirt and hat. (Thus disguised no one would recognise her at all.) Then, in her 'styled for action' super-heroine suit, she would fight injustice wherever she found it and take down bad guys with her knife pleats....

Cute pattern for a combo from Simplicity: "The one piece playsuit, styled for action, features shorts pleated front and at center back and joins to a shirtmaker top. The knife pleated skirt buttons in front." Long or short sleeves.

There is no date on the envelope, but the pattern looks to be from the 1930s.

All pattern pieces and instructions are present and correct. Pattern pieces, like all Simplicity patterns of this period, are pre-cut to size and unprinted, with markings indicated by perforations (explained in the instructions). Some pattern pieces have been used, and a couple have small tears at the edge, and edge wear on creases. One other piece has a longer tear, which appears to be a clean tear, which could be pinned in place when you cut your fabric, or taped.

The envelope is in rather tired condition, split open at the top and bottom, with small tears at edges.
