stencil pillow no. 1 with organic cotton stuffing

My fall/winter 2009 pillows include a number of designs based on early American stencils. Beginning about 1800 itinerant stencil artists like Moses Eaton Jr. travelled around the countryside and decorated farmhouse walls with the most incredible designs.
This pillow is hand-stenciled and washed to a worn in fade. Each one is individual so some will have lighter tones and some darker. If you have a preference please leave it in the note to seller on your invoice at checkout.
I use hemp fabric which I tea-stain to make the envelope style pillow cover. Inside is a handmade pillow insert made with the same eco-friendly hemp and stuffed with organic cotton.
Wash the cover by hand in cold water and gentle soap. Line dry and iron.
Please note that these pillows are made to order. Allow up to 1 week from time of purchase for me to get it in the mail.
