Handmade Textile Collaged Brooch Classy Lady

Here we have a handmade textile collaged brooch.

Made from slightly padded muslin, with lovely vintage fabrics, a silk picture of a sweet lady embellished with hand embroidery by myself. Fabrics, paper and a silk pic of a bird, all combine to make a lovely brooch, finished with vintage buttons.
This brooch is all about texture. Threads ends have been left loose, with lots of stitching to make this brooch very touchable.

Backed with toile cotton and a brooch pin to fasten.

Measuring : Just over two inches x three inches. 6 x 8cm.

This lovely brooch is a unique piece and handmade exclusively by Hens Teeth (c) 2009.
