Forest Plaid "Janet" Wool Handbag

This simple handbag will transition your wardrobe from autumn into winter. The forest green plaid and soft cream wool felt are a classic pairing. Overall size of this handbag is 13 x10x 3 inches. The handles are constructed of the plaid fabric and the top of the loop is 8 inches from the top edge of the handbag.
The interior is lined with the same plaid fabric. I included a handy interior pocket to hold keys or your phone and I used a magnetic snap to close the top. A black/silver button details the front flap.

The needle felting process makes a sturdy, everyday usable felt fabric so my purses are made to use. Don’t hide it in your closest !!
Felt really is easy to care for! Simply fill a basin with warm soapy water and lay your purse into the water flat, let it soak for 5-10 minutes depending on how soiled it is and then roll it up like a jelly roll to squeeze out the water. Rinse it the same way, roll it up again, and then to give it some shape as it dries place a rolled up towel inside and let it air dry.

P.S. Felt only gets better with washing and wearing it, remember felt has been used for thousands of years!!
